Students from William Jewell College arrived at Higher M-Pact to volunteer their time and talents to the youth living in the community. The William Jewell students paired up with youth to work together on a therapeutic art project. The teams of buddies worked together to design and paint birdhouses with pictures and scenes that reflected positive attributes of their personalities. There were some really creative pieces of art! The birdhouses were later auctioned off at the Rotary Club of Johnson County’s Oktoberfest event. Proceeds benefited Higher M-Pact.
We appreciate the William Jewell students taking the time to work with our youth on such a fun project!
